Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week

Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week is November 19 – 23.  Major Ballachey has been supporting this initiative by providing staff with resources, running our Active Playground program, completing Student School Climate surveys, encouraging parents to complete the Parent School Climate Survey and designating Friday, November 23 as Pink Day.  So wear pink on Friday to support bullying awareness and prevention.

Active Playground Update

 

Active Playground Update

We’re still looking for more students from Mrs. McFarling’s and Mr. Kersten’s class to be Active Playground Leaders.  We’re hoping to make our leadership teams this week and start Active Playgrounds for students in grades K-3 in the next two weeks.  Hopefully the games will help our students resolve conflict and develop fair play and sportsmanship.
